Central Illinois’ premier chamber choir

Lumieré presents its Fall Concert. The group, directed by Dr. John Jost, sings a widely varied repertoire from the Renaissance to the present day. The featured work for this concert is the Liebeslieder Waltzer by Johannes Brahms. Spectacular music three-four times accompanied by two pianists. Dr. Jost’s choirs have a reputation for excellence, much deserved after decades of work in Peoria. The personnel of the choir is often former students or other musical professionals whose respect for Dr. Jost is boundless. Come and hear a program worthy of any concert stage anywhere. You won’t be disappointed. 

Admission at the door:  Adults $10 / Students $5

ALL CONCERTS are free, with the exception of the Lumieré concert.  Westminster Church presents these concerts for the enrichment of our church and community and hopes that you will take the time to join us here on Moss Avenue at Malvern Lane to hear some of the best music presented in the Central Illinois area.
