“THOSE WHO WAIT FOR THE LORD”

Our culture often teaches the virtue of self reliance.  In the extreme, some feel they must deny their need for any support, even the encouragement of others.  Isaiah offers us a realistic look at human frailty, even for those deemed strong.  He calls his hearers to wait on the Lord instead, to trust God as a source of strength.
