What should I wear?
There is no dress code. At Westminster, we promote a “come as you are” atmosphere for worship. Some people dress up; some come in casual clothes, and some wear jeans. Feel free to wear clothing that makes you feel comfortable.
Where do I park?
Offstreet parking is available behind the church.
How long is the worship service?
Our worship service generally runs about one hour.
What is your worship service like?
At Westminster Presbyterian, our worship service is a traditional liturgical service with prayers, hymns and sermon. Communion is served as part of the service on the first Sunday of each month.
Is there a nursery?
Yes, nursery care is available for infants through age 5. Our nursery provides a safe, secure environment.
“As a newcomer to Westminster (in September of 2014), I’ve found it to be a most welcoming fellowship. I look forward to going to services and events and find the warmth of the congregation to be most helpful to a newcomer to the entire area. I find sermons challenging … music beautiful and well prepared … and a dignity in the worship that is all too lacking in most Protestant congregations. Mix this with an open atmosphere where it is OK to question and still be seen as a good Christian, and I know I’ve found one important ‘home’ in Central Illinois.”
